MINISTRY LETTER

Thank you for reading our ministry letter. Yes I again suffered dengue fever. I had high fever for 2 days and on the 3rd day I went to the hospital. After 3 days I knew something was wrong. After the hospital did some test on me they concluded that I had dengue fever but that my body had won the battle and dealt with the sickness, however, due to lack of drinking water I had contracted a UTI infection on to of it.

Now here the testimony, during my sickness everything continued, although I was up for preaching that Sunday. We had our 2 monthly celebration service, one of the leaders in church did the preaching. All I had to do was sit and that was already hard to do for me. My body was so tired and aching. However now 2 weeks later I feel much better and feel that my strength is returning step by step. I am so proud of the leaders that stepped in and helped out with everything that needed to be done. What an awesome team God is raising up.

Any idea why people keep asking me if Barnabas and Caleb are twins? Let me know who you think is Caleb and who Barnabas?
Really I am doing good now and kids are in top condition. Can't keep up with their exuberant energy. Flower is doing awesome with homeschooling the kids and taking care of the family.
Although I was sick everything just continue. Thanks to your support TTN has been able to increase support of children from 1 person to 3 persons. We really hope to increase this part. For only $10 per month we can help a child finish their Elementary and High School studies. Thanks for making it possible to support 3 children.

Also while I was sick our BAM project just continued and the 3 workers did an awesome job continuing the work that needs to be done. At this moment thanks to your support we are working on starting a 2nd BAM project. Read more about this in our BAM project section.

UPDATE BAM PROJECT

On July 4 we will have our 1st year anniversary of 1st BAM project. It has been 1 year ago that we started this Business as Mission project. Now one year later we have 3 workers whose life have been transformed and who want to serve the LORD. Last year we stepped out with our first project in starting a Christian business selling Christian music and movies. Now 1 year later the business is making a little profit and starting to support the ministry. I also want to take this moment to thank some of you who are buying their music and movies through our web page www.yourpraiseshop.com This is really a great help and support for the shop. Thanks for being so faithful and supportive of everything we do.

Because of the great success of our first BAM project we are looking at starting our 2nd BAM project - HOPE Book Shop (www.hopebookshop.com). We are setting up a Christian Book Shop where we will be selling new and used Christian books. We have done some trials and there seems to be a market and need for especially used Christian books. Many customers thank us for selling used books. Finally people are able to afford to buy Christian books. For many Christians the prices for new books are too expensive.
Since there is a very limited supply of Christian books available on this island we are also thinking about eventually selling new books. This second project is almost half way. We have already 1000 used books in the shop and another 1500 books are on their way.
It looks like we already had a person donating money for this BAM project so we can buy another 1000 used books. What a blessing... God is already working and helping us to set up this second BAM project. Our aim is to set up a little book shop selling at least 6000 used books, new books and bibles. Although this project is not finished yet we are already looking at a 3rd project - fruit and vegetable store (Hopefully within 6 months).
When the second project is up and running we hope to be able to employ 2 more people and provide an income to at least 5 different people. Thanks for being such a huge help and thanks for making it possible for us to start these projects. Through these BAM projects we are able to touch so many lives and be a witness for HIS kingdom.
